The Uncle Jim Armchair & Unle Jack Sofa was created by Philippe Starck for the Italian design label Kartell.
French-born Philippe Starck is considered to be one of the most influential modern designers, working on everything from kitchen utensils to yachts and hotels. He is known for his stylised, organic creations that make use of unusual materials. His work is exhibited in several museum collections and he has won many prizes including the Excellence in Design Award from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

With its ethereal and futuristic appearance, is very characteristic of Philippe Starck's work. The use of transparent high-quality polyethylene moulded in one single piece is an experimental design that creates the illusion that the sitter is hovering in the air. The construction method delivers a durable chair that is tough enough to be used outside as well as indoors.

We aim to deliver your order as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. Delivery charges are based on the size and weight of the items you are ordering and are automatically assigned at checkout.

• Regular Post: Smaller items, not requiring specialised handling, will be delivered by regular post. These items normally take two (2) working days. Less than 10kg €7.50.
• Courier: Larger or heavier items suitable are sent by Fastway Couriers from €15 per box.
• Van delivery: Large and or delicate items that need assembly/specialised handling by an Objekt representative , these charges vary depending on the item, number of delivery personnal required and location of delivery.
